Bright Language Diagnostic Test
Now that you’ve registered for an English training with us, we’re delighted to invite you to our Bright Language Diagnostic Test!
Test overview
The Diagnostic Test is an online assessment for determining:
- Your current level of English (according to this particular assessment)
- Areas of improvement (primarily in terms of grammar)
This information is important for you and your trainer, as together you can ensure that the training objectives, content and expected results are appropriate for your level.
Test format
Test method: The test is online.
Levels evaluated: CEFR levels A1 to C2.
Duration: Around 1 hour, depending on your speed.
Date and time of the test: You should try to complete the test before your needs analysis consultation.
Test content
The test consists of 120 questions set in a professional context.
There are two sections: Listening (60 questions), and Reading (60 questions).
Broadly speaking, the test evaluates the quality of your:
Grammar
Vocabulary
Syntax
Structures
You can pause the test up to five times.
Test results
After the test, you will receive a test report with your current level of English and areas for improvement. In the needs analysis consultation, you will be able to discuss these with an English Proficiency trainer.
