Test overview

The Diagnostic Test is an online assessment for determining:

1. Your current level of English (according to this particular assessment)
2. Areas of improvement (primarily in terms of grammar)

This information is important for you and your trainer, as together you can ensure that the training objectives, content and expected results are appropriate for your level.

Furthermore, the information is important for ensuring our company meets the quality standards set by Qualiopi and our partners that certify your target certification.

Test format

Test method: The test is online.

Levels evaluated: CEFR levels A1 to C2.

Duration: Between 30 and 90 minutes, depending on your speed.

Date and time of the test: You should complete the test before your first English lesson.

Test content

The test consists of 120 questions set in a professional context.

There are two sections: Listening (60 questions), and Reading (60 questions).

Broadly speaking, the test evaluates the quality of your:

Grammar
Vocabulary
Syntax
Structures

You can pause the test up to five times.

Test results

After the test, you will receive a test report with your current level of English and areas for improvement. In the final part of your needs analysis, you will be able to discuss these with your trainer.
